Robotic Method

The Ductrat is a highly manoeuvrable robotic inspection vehicle capable of entering ducts previously considered inaccessible. This remarkable tool is literally able to travel up to twenty five (25) metres along duct runs, eg. within concrete walls with small 300 x 300mm ducts.

An on-board high resolution digital colour camera with wide angle lens is able to detect faults within HAVC's such as, closed fire dampers, damaged turning vanes, deteriorating internal insulation and dangerous build-up of dust particles which can lead to Sick Building Syndrome.

The camera records the images direct to VHS format (with date/time display). The video is then available to the customer.

Small to medium ductwork can be professionally cleaned using the Ductrat in conjunction with the Dual/Tri-Wip System.
